This post is to inform you that after much deliberation and feedback from the staff and students, we have decided to cancel the upcoming November 24-28 Fine Art Immersion Week for the secondary students.
The goal of the Immersion Weeks is that students work in their core curricular classes on a common theme, which culminates in a weeklong, real-world experience and/or project. We would like to ensure that this goal be met, and therefore have decided to incorporate the Fine Art portion into the February Immersion week; thus providing ample time to incorporate the theme into students’ classes.
Classes will continue as usual the week of November 24-28, following the four-day rotating schedule. Students are expected to be in attendance in all of their classes.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the Lucerne School Office.
